The Sandbox continues to collect partners. Recently, subsidiary Animoca Brands announced that the latest company to buy land in the metaverse was PwC in Hong Kong. The insurance giant has become the first member of the internationally recognized professional services network to publicly enter The Sandbox.

As part of a global network spanning 156 countries, employing over 295,000 people, providing guarantees, tax services and advice, it is a unique partner and resident of the Metaverse.

William Gee, Partner at PwC Hong Kong, commented: “The Metaverse offers organizations new opportunities to create value through innovative business models, as well as new ways to engage with their customers and communities. We will use our experience to advise clients who wish to use the Metaverse on the full range of challenges associated with this emerging global digital phenomenon.”

It's not just a matter of connecting with potential users through a new medium. The support of big names like PwC Hong Kong goes a long way in supporting the metaverse's long-term growth. By backing up such activities with their signature, they accelerate the development of innovations such as the metaverse and web3.
